Americans who support gun control are marching to the streets in cities throughout the country on Saturday to protest the back-to-back mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, New York.
March For Our Lives, a group created by student survivors of the Parkland, Florida, high school shooting that murdered 17 people in 2018, planned the nationwide marches.
The marches on Saturday are in response to the May 24 shooting at a Uvalde primary school, which murdered 19 children and two teachers, as well as the May 14 slaughter at a Buffalo grocery store, which killed ten people, all of them were Black.
